not all it seems... A Fine Line by Sue Horsford

18++ She works with victims of domestic abuse and is adamant that no man will ever tell her what to do. [...]
No one would understand that my submission empowered me, that I felt stronger kneeling at Gabriel’s feet than I ever had standing at Paul’s side. But there’s something about Gabriel that draws her in and gives her a glimpse of who she really wants to be.

Description:

No one would understand that my submission empowered me, that I felt stronger kneeling at Gabriel’s feet than I ever had standing at Paul’s side.

Faye Austin seems to have it all--a fulfilling career, a successful husband, a beautiful home. But appearances can be deceptive and sometimes Faye can’t help thinking she’s living the wrong life. A lifetime of being compared to her beautiful younger sister, Ginny, has left her feeling second best, and a chance discovery while looking at her husband’s laptop has led her to realize that her marriage is not all it seems.

Then she meets the handsome Gabriel Scott, a man who likes to play sexual games of power and control, and suddenly everything makes sense. Gabriel’s natural dominance is so compelling that Faye feels her own submissiveness awakening in response, a reaction that both horrifies and excites her. She works with victims of domestic abuse and is adamant that no man will ever tell her what to do. But there’s something about Gabriel that draws her in and gives her a glimpse of who she really wants to be.

Can Gabriel give her what she needs? Or will Ginny get there first?

GUEST POST
Fun Facts

I’ve done 20 parachute jumps, a bungy jump and thrown myself off the top of the Sky Tower in Auckland.

I do Tai-Chi every Saturday morning and recently wrote an article about my Martial Arts Centre for the local paper.

I once walked 500 miles across Spain in five weeks.

My favourite music for writing is either Andrea Bocelli or Enigma.

My favourite classic novel is Wuthering Heights. I love the angst!

My favourite modern novels are the Galactic Milieu books by Julian May. Her world-building is incredible!

I’m a huge fan of the TV series, The 100 and am such a geek that I’ve recently attended my second fan convention (though I didn’t dress up).

Anyone who follows me on Twitter will know that I’m obsessed with the actor who plays Marcus Kane.

Recently, he asked about A Fine Line so I sent him a signed copy and somebody videoed him opening it and reading an extract then sent me the video. It’s fair to say I pretty much died!

I write The 100 Fan Fiction on Archive of Our Own. It’s so liberating just to post my first draft without worrying about the dreaded editing. And the feedback from fans is so positive.

I also like dressing up in 1940s clothes and going to WWII re-enactments. (Told you I was a geek!)

I run a creative writing group one night a week at a local drug rehab and always come away buzzing off the creativity and enthusiasm.

I play the piano extremely badly.

I like to dance, Modern Jive and Lindy Hop.

I like to record my memories on Jambios, a website for writing down your memories and inviting others to contribute or read.

I recently won a writing competition on Jambios and the prize was a football shirt belonging to my favourite actor. I recently met him and if you follow me on Twitter, you’ll see my icon is me wearing his shirt and posing with him.

For my book launch, I threw a party and I invited guests to wear fetish wear if they chose. I got to see a whole new side to my friends!

The most common question I get asked about A Fine Line is: Am I writing about my own sex life?

My dream life would be to give up my paid job and write all morning and work for myself in the afternoons.

I love to sing, I’ve been in a couple of choirs and I’ve sung backing vocals in a band.

I don’t have enough time to do all the things I love to do!

About the author:
I am a qualified hypnotherapist and Reiki practitioner living in the North of England with my husband and soul mate. Over the years I must have started and abandoned over fifty novels before I decided to try my hand at writing erotica. Finally I had a finished novel and a new hobby all in one. I never realized writing could be so much fun!
