Review and Giveaway Dead Dreams (Dead Dreams #1) by Emma Right

REVIEW:
“What if a man gains the whole world, but loses his soul?”
„They say each dead body, a human corpse, has a scent all of its own, a sweet-sour smell.”
With such a motto and prologue, Dead Dreams certainly rise my curiosity and drew me to read it! Mostly, I liked the book, and the "small" elements that initially I thought they were a bit too convenient for the flow of events, ultimately, looking around me, I could accept their verisimilitude. Many young people believe they can achieve anything and even if they are in good faith and guided by good intentions end up in dangerous situations. Adding to this the hope of a easy gain (relatively) these situations can become fatal. So that's the situation with our heroine who, although is a smart girl, makes some choices that are not so fortunate.
"I’ll come back. I need to do this. To prove to myself. Please understand.”
The events are well managed, the clues are present, but you’ll notice their importance on the way, nothing is offered for free and for the reader will not be always too easy to foresee what will happen or who actually pull the strings. Lies that hide more lies, manipulated truths, faulty connections and relationships or (seemingly) normal ones are found in a plot whose voltage and unexpected are maintained and modified by human nature (each has its price, you just need to find it). Everything is a "good" game of light and shadows in which friends can easily be mistaken for enemies and vice versa, and secondary characters are to become important pawns on a game board without colours.

Action begins at a steady pace that along the way intensified itself (by situations turns) evolving at the end into an alert one, but not necessarily paroxysmal. The end? The ending will only leave you anxiously for the next volume.
“God has a reason for all things.” “Nothing’s stupid if it scares you.”
Book Description:
Eighteen-year-old Brie O’Mara has so much going for her: a loving family in the sidelines, an heiress for a roommate, and dreams that might just come true. Big dreams–of going to acting school, finishing college and making a name for herself. She is about to be the envy of everyone she knew. What more could she hope for? Except her dreams are about to lead her down the road to nightmares. Nightmares that could turn into a deadly reality.
