There were too many to list. There were two YA books which deserve mention.
The Last of the Firesdrakes - A tremendous conclusion to a very well-written YA Fantasy series.
The Undoing - A YA Dystopian novel which was very well-created, written and realistic.

I read over 100 books and I enjoyed Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption, The Long Flight Home and The Book Charmer. To be honest, I think my choices in picture books, middle grade, and YA literature was much better this year than adult fiction. I plan to do better this year!
