"Mary Morgan has done it once again. She has rocked this book in a way that no other author could as she has a certain style of writing that pulls you in from the first page and doesn’t let you back out until the end and even then you are still thinking about it." - Alison, Goodreads

When skilled weaver, Gwen Hywel, is commissioned to create a tapestry for the MacFhearguis clan, she embraces the assignment. While seeking out ideas, she finds herself clutching the one thread that can alter the tapestry of her life and heart.
A man conflicted by past deeds. A woman with no family of her own. Is it possible for love to unravel an ancient past, in order to claim two badly scarred hearts?
Or will the light of hope be doused forever?

GUEST POST
Highlander Fascination—A love affair by Mary Morgan
What is it about a man
in a kilt that evokes romance? Especially a Highlander standing on a
heather-filled mountain top or by a shimmering loch in Scotland? Can I explain
this fascination some of us have with these brawn, kilted men? No. Each of us
could debate and/or argue the topic for hours. I know I have within my own book
club.
So let me state my own
fascination and reasons…
1. Literature is a
powerful source. I was a bookseller for Borders Books. I understand the draw of
a sexy Highlander on the cover of a romance novel. For some, it’s an automatic
buy. Psst…I was one of those buyers, too. Who doesn’t want to be rescued (or
rescue) by a Highlander? I’m raising my hand to volunteer!
2. Perhaps some of the
attraction and allure came when I watched the movies Braveheart and Rob Roy.
The fight for justice, freedom, and
love. Powerful ingredients—values that are true even today.
3. My love affair with Scotland
and Ireland began decades ago. I blame it on my own bloodline—a yearning to
return to the land of my ancestors. It called out to me within the stories of
Irish mythology and Scottish history. I'd close my eyes and pretend I was
there.
When I finally took my
first trip to Scotland sixteen years ago, the birth of a series—the Dragon
Knights were born. I was sitting on a boulder in the Highlands, surrounded by
the magic and the mists of the land. However, on the second half of my trip, I
visited Ireland. As I wandered the soft rolling hills in various shades of
green, the land spoke to my soul and urged me to place the Dragon Knights here,
too. It would be several more years before I decided on both countries—Scotland
and Ireland as part of my stories. A
perfect solution to a problem I had been debating on for the Dragon Knights—my
mythical Highlanders.
I’ve incorporated the
major highlights with my obsession with Highlanders. There are so many
factors—from my own DNA, to the magic of the land, and the historical research
and stories. I’d love to discuss this further, so feel free to send me an
email. I’m always open to a discussion about anything relating to Highlanders.

OMGOODNESS, Bea! I'm a huge fan of both! I have the entire dvd collection of the "Highlander" tv series. Adrian Paul is my favorite Highlander. Of course, there can be only one! ;)
Yet I do love the movies, too. When I first started collecting the vhs tapes of the series, they would sent you extra gifts with the collection. I have a dagger, t-shirt, book on the making of the series, and a jean jacket with the Highlander emblem on the back.
Can you tell I'm a fan? So happy to meet another, too. Thanks for stopping by. :)
