I've been reading scifi/fantasy for over 50 years. My fantasy collection includes books by Craig Shaw Gardner, Terry Brooks, Barbara Hambly, Dawn Cook and many others. I grew up an only child till I was 12, but even after mommy dearest remarried I was still alone. Books became my escape and only friends. Some of my books go back the 1940's and 50's.

(And the Sleeping Beauty was raped by her father in the original fairy tale.) I like so much the fairy tales, because Andersen was my best friend when I was only 10. :)) When I read a fairy tale, I am a child again.
