a disaster... The Balcony Girl (The Darlings of Deadwood #1) by Tina Susedik

"What a lovely story! It had enchanting characters with spunk and gumption, was historically accurate, and hard to put down. " Teresa, Goodreads

Can a secret tear them apart or bring them together?

When Julia Lindstrom and her sister, Suzanna, move to Deadwood, South Dakota in 1879, she never expects to meet her future husband, secretly befriend the madam of a brothel, and help in a disaster.

Daniel Iverson followed the gold rush to Deadwood only to find out he hated it. Now working as a lawyer, he defends ladies of the evening and investigates why men are getting sick. Meeting Julia Lindstrom was an added bonus. But can a secret she holds tear them apart?

"This is a very lovely story about a woman and a man, both far ahead of their time, who are doing the best they can to help people who are treated horribly because they are different! I loved this story and, did not want it to end!" cjr, Amazon

About the author:
As an award-winning author, Tina always had stories running her mind while growing up, but didn't start writing them down until she and her husband made one of their many moves, and she didn't have a job. Her first story, a children's story, started her love of writing.

While she has seven non-fiction history books in print, she also has two children's books, and eight romances, including two anthologies.

Tina is also a talk show host for the Authors on the Air Global Radio. Her show is "Your Book Garden."

When not writing, Tina enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren, reading, hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, and bird watching. The theme here is anything outdoors. Her favorite place to write is even outdoors, which is difficult in the long, cold, Wisconsin winters.
