James Sinclair keeps his life uncomplicated. His job as a trader is intense, he travels a lot and everything else must fit in or buzz off. Relationships don’t make a blip on his radar, and the world is really better off without that thing called love.

When James returns to his Paris apartment from a business trip to find a beautiful, unknown brunette in his bed, his cage of perfect existence is rattled. Said brunette turns out to be his little sister’s best friend, there by his own unwitting invitation.

Mila Johnson has done a lot of growing up since James had last seen her, and what’s a man to do but to claim his side of the bed, with a whisper that the situation is total fantasy material?

Mila is in Paris seeking inspiration for her first solo art exhibition. James’s unexpected arrival adds another dimension to her stay, especially since her teenage fantasy is still larger than life and slipping between the sheets with her.

One night of fooling around opens a Pandora’s box which Mila wants to pry open wider, whereas James wants to keep the lid on—Mila is a sweet innocent and no way is he going to expose her to anything, especially not to the real James Sinclair.

As he free-falls into complication territory, James struggles to keep control over his past and his heart. When his ex-girlfriend arrives out of the blue, hell might just be a place where he’d rather be.

About the author:
I've always been drawn to the magical escape of books and the journeys they take us on without leaving the comfort of home. I’ve been fortunate to have traveled to France, and this book was inspired by a visit to Paris some years ago. We were walking in some narrow alley in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, when I noticed a door with a single plaque with Club Privé written on it. My imagination got going, and at some point, things got pretty wild. I’ve wanted to write for a long time, but life had plans of its own. I’m grateful to finally have time to write, and love writing contemporary and erotic romance in far-flung settings. Taking readers on a journey of their own with my books is part of the plot. Bon voyage!
