Dimitrie Vs. Silvia

Dimitri is the protagonist in SUMMONED. A killer genie, to be specific. 

While the leading lady is the smart, sexy, and totally bonkers Syd, there’s another woman in Dim’s life—unfortunately. 

Silvia Walker is the only offspring of Karl, Dimitri’s master. One day, Silvia will inherit control over Dimitri…and she can’t wait.

Dim is slightly less enthusiastic about the arrangement.

Silvia gets quite a bit of word count, so here’s a compare-and-contrast of Dimitri and his master-in-waiting.

Differences

As a teenager, Dimitri was put into his place as being little more than a servant. Silvia, on the other hand, knows she will eventually own him. Few things can end a childhood friendship quite as abruptly. From there, they further fell apart as Dimitri was put out into the world, but Silvia was kept sheltered. As they grew older, their realities veered into two distinct directions, but continue to collide as they’re slowly forced into their roles as master and genie.

Similarities

Dimitri likes to think of himself as smarter and better than Silvia, but they have more in common than he would like to admit. They both have no control over their present or future. They also both rely heavily on Karl for money and guidance. Mainly, though, they’re both at cross-roads, trying to understand how their bizarre lives fit with the rest of society, their hopes, and each other.
