It’s a story about something much stronger - Feel by Karen-Anne Stewart

Let me introduce you to the Saige Colewood and Jensen Rider. For as long as Saige can remember, she has felt everything from everyone…except Jensen. She never wanted her abilities or to experience the hell from the overwhelming emotions from those around her.

Description: 18+

The one whose emotions I can’t feel is the one who makes me feel the most.

I was a sensitive, at least that’s what I was told by the boy who saved me from the overwhelming emotions that consumed my soul, the boy who saved me from myself when my gift became stronger. Through the years, he was my redemption, my reason to take my next breath…then, he was gone.

Jensen always told me I was strong, but I didn’t believe him until I was forced to be strong on my own, and I kept breathing without him. I’ve taken 42 million breaths since the moment he sent me away. Now, four years later, he’s standing in front of me, and I can barely breathe.

This isn’t just a story about the abilities I possess; it’s a story about something much stronger…the love of the man who possesses every part of me.

GUEST POST

Thank you for letting me stop by today to talk about my new novel, Feel! Although Feel is my fifth novel, this is my first experience with writing a story about characters with paranormal abilities. I’m thrilled to say that I’m finding my own groove in the New Adult Romance genre and enjoying every last second of it, but I’m a novice with the paranormal genre, so, I won’t delve into what readers should expect from these types of novel, but, instead, I would love to give the readers a peek into what they can expect with Jensen and Saige’s story.

This isn’t just a story about the abilities I possess; it’s a story about something much stronger…the love of the man who possesses every part of me.

Feel is written in Jensen and Saige’s alternating POVs so the reader can feel what they feel. There is a myriad of emotions for readers to experience: empathy, angst, sorrow, humor, anger, love, and, yes, lust ;). Jensen and Saige have an unbreakable (although sometimes damaged) bond that begins as childhood friends and grows into a powerful love.

Let me introduce you to the Saige Colewood and Jensen Rider. For as long as Saige can remember, she has felt everything from everyone…except Jensen. She never wanted her abilities or to experience the hell from the overwhelming emotions from those around her. Saige had no one, until the day Jensen saved her on the playground when she was only seven years old. Saige’s strength is astounding. Her abilities damage her but she never breaks, never stops helping others, despite the pain it causes her.

That feeling a person gets when they hear that someone doesn’t like them, for me, it’s multiplied a thousand times when I actually feel how much they dislike me. Hearing you’re a screw up, just a waste of breath, sucks enough, but hearing it from the person’s mouth and actually feeling it radiating off him does something deeper, something darker, something permanent that never really goes away, no matter how damn hard I try to scrape the contagion from my soul. To say I’m damaged would be a lie; I’m unbelievably fucked up….but I’m okay with that because, really, who isn’t?

Personally, I can’t get enough of a strong alpha male hero with a sensitive side. I’m one loyal chick, but I fell in love with Jensen while creating his character - luckily, my husband doesn’t get jealous of my book boyfriends J. Readers will see how Jensen is hell-bent on protecting Saige, ruthless and fierce in how he beats the crap out of anyone who hurts her, while being painstakingly gentle every time he’s with her.

I want to pull her into my arms and protect her from every fucking bad thing this life has thrown at her….She isn’t to blame; she can’t help what she feels or who she feels. I’ve never regretted beating someone’s ass for hurting her. I would do it all over again, not giving a damn about what the consequences meant for me.

Readers can expect to feel the character’s strengths, vulnerabilities, determination and sacrifice, Saige’s pain when Jensen sends her away, and his anguished guilt as he tries to regain her trust. Readers will tumble with them through twists, heartache, suspense, heartwarming moments, smoking, sexy scenes, and a depth of love that leaves them breathless. I enjoyed every second of writing Feel, and I hope all of you fall in love with Jensen and Saige as much as I did.
