The hop's questions is:
Hot Heroes! What makes a hero hot? Is it his smile, how he walks, his actions?
The answer is a very simple one (really???)
First he must catch your eyes! He must be handsome (=gorgeous) but masculine in the same time (I never liked the „kid” type). And here there are no limits. Then, because we talk about paranormal and romantic suspense genre, he must be physically and psychologically fit to prevail in every challenge and danger will come. If he is a bad boy I would love him to become good for his heroine even if by that time he messes the thinks up. But he must not lose his “bad boy” air.
He must be good, right in his decisions, generous, devoted to his family, friends or liege, and to protect the weak. And all these mean that he must be really smart.
Though he has all the above great qualities, he must not show off them, they just must be there and to be used when the case may be.
In plus, he must have a good humor sense and a playful disposition (so we can have hilarious lines and situations, great and unexpected solutions, fireworks in the relationship).
After everything is solved and the happy ending came, he must be a real life partner and not a savior that is no more need of.

The word 'hot' instantly makes me think of a guy's body, but this is never what I'd choose boys by. The attraction fades the moment I find his personality to be something I wouldn't approve of. Be he a hero or whoever, the same words apply.
I think what makes a hero hot is his take charge attitude but he crumbles in order to make his lady love happy.

What I think makes a hero hot depends on the hero. Some are the quiet, average looking willing to sacrifice themselves. Some are the outspoken, take-charge alpha personalities!
