18+ "I loved the storyline. There are very few authors who can write issues involving abuse and write them tastefully. [...] I loved the secondary characters, they were funny and spunky. I look forward to their stories. I would definitely recommend this book. It had all the elements and it's definitely going to be a series I continue." - Louise, Goodreads

Ethan “Trigger man” Howard is the Sergeant of Arms for The Sacred Hearts Motor Cycle club. So over it, and home to nurse his wounds, physical, emotional and psychological with the help of his MC brothers. Now he simply deals with the scars that life handed him.
Was it more than just luck for he and Ashton both that he was the only other soul traveling that isolated stretch of highway that night?
A little bit about the characters in Shattered & Scarred?
Trigger is the Sargent At Arms, one of the officer positions held within The Sacred Hearts Motorcycle Club. He has a past, and it’s a very real one. Home from the war where he held the position of sniper with the United States Marines Corps, he found himself unable to effectively deal with some of the things he had to do in service to his country. This led to self-medication by illegal drug use which is how he met his now-best-friend, Reaver. Trigger is trying to reverse some of the wrongs he did and balance his scales by helping the MC, which gave him a place to belong, go legitimate.
Ashton Granger is an abused housewife who has spent the last eight years of her marriage a veritable captive of her husband. She has lucked out in a big way that her husband is losing it a little more day by day. His insanity becoming a key to the lock of her captivity. He’s left her on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere which is where our hero of the story, Trigger, finds her. Walking barefoot and freezing along the side of a lonesome moonlit highway. It is both one of the worst and best things to happen to Ashton in recent memory, she just doesn’t know it yet.
