Don’t fall in love. -Transcending Darkness by Airicka Phoenix

18++
One: Sign the contract.
Two: Become his for a year.
Three: Don’t fall in love.

Description:

One: Sign the contract.

Juliette Romero had a debt to pay, a debt that wasn’t even hers. But it was the only way to keep her family safe and all she had to do was sell her body and soul to the devil.

Killian McClary wasn’t called the Scarlet Wolf for nothing. He’d been the head of the McClary Organization since he was fifteen and had built a reputation for being a ruthless son of a bitch when it came to running the city’s underbelly, not to mention merciless when it came to punishing those who betray him. He didn’t believe in weaknesses. Only results. Juliette, with her shy smiles and hot little body was a weakness unlike any other and yet he was powerless to resist one more taste of her sweet flesh.

Two: Become his for a year.
When given the choice between her life or her body, what could Juliette possibly do, but submit to a man whose very name invoked fear in the hearts others? She just never anticipated falling for his dark, hungry eyes and clever hands, or the way the beast in him made her feel oddly safe and cherished.

But what will happen when Killian’s dark past finally catches up to him and threatens the woman he can no longer imagine himself without? What will happen when both sides find themselves caught in a web of passion, lies and broken promises? Can Juliette tame the wolf or will her love for him devour them both?

Three: Don’t fall in love.
Boundaries will be crossed, loyalties will be tested and lives will be changed forever.

GUEST POST
When You Ask An Author A Question

I got asked an interesting question the other day. It was the sort of question that makes you pause, because you've never been asked said question so your brain panics and think 'OMG! We're not prepared!' But you smile and hope to God it doesn't look pained and the other person is standing there, waiting and you wonder if it's too late to jump behind a bush and pretend you were never there.

So, my name is Airicka Phoenix, professional Netflix watcher, Olympic gold medalist procrastinator and chocolate addict which rivals only with my romance addiction. I am more professionally known as the author of over nineteen young adult, new adult and adult contemporary and paranormal romance such as TRANSCENDING DARKNESS, THE BABY SAGA and The TOUCH SAGA.

As an author, I get asked the really tough questions like what sort of yoga do you do before you write? Is it true that authors live on coffee and rum? With your extensive knowledge of getting rid of bodies, why didn't you become a serial killer? That last one is my favorite. But we also get asked things like, where do you get your inspiration? How often do you write a day? When is the next book coming out? There is nothing an author loves more than questions. It shows interest in us and in our books and it just makes us feel wanted. Being needy creatures, we desperately want our readers to acknowledge us.
But it's not always just readers asking questions. You get authors wanting to know how it is you do the things you do. When I started, I was badgering every author who would give me the time of day with questions about how they did what they did and how they did it so well. All the authors I ever met were just incredible. So helpful. I got very lucky. As time went on and years passed, I found myself being the one readers and authors came to with their questions and it was just an amazing feeling. It was why I put together a folder full of resources for authors to help guide them on their way. I think I've now got enough to fill an encyclopedia. So, make sure to check out my website in the next few days for my very impressive list. Check below for a small sample *wink wink* - HOW TO WRITE THE PERFECT FEMALE VILLAIN - HOW TO HOOK A READER - HOW TO SHOW AND NOT TELL I'll have more on my website so make sure to sign up and be prepared for informative funness!

So, that is all for this post. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Thank you for reading and I hope to see you again! Oh, right, the question I was asked was which Golden Girl I liked best. What kind of sick person asks something like that? More importantly, how does one answer such a mind boggling question?!

Interesting story. Thank you, Airicka. My assignment is not so fantastic and for somebody, it can be boring. I write about resume length questions and answers. It's really useful for every adult.
