Review and Giveaway The Life is Too Short Collection by Connie E. Sokol

“You could smile, Mother, you could just smile.”

Usually I do not read self-help book genre, but certainly I recommend you to read "Life is too short" by Connie E Sokol. It's not because I would feel somehow obliged be part in the tour, but simply because I liked.

Whether you're starting out or already you are tried by life, I think it will give you a point of view and help you get to live your life as you want and deserve, in full. You will find either a confirmation that what you do is good, either a good advice to follow. It took me a while to come to the same conclusions as the author and it’s pointless for you not to learn from the others’ experience. Consider that you are lucky to get The Eldership’s Advice (and of course we refer to experience not age).

The book has several advantages. It is well structured and allows to the reader to read both "head - tail" or to begin with what interests him most. In any case, you'll definitely read the book entirely.

Another advantage is the amusing note that author use. You will not get a serious and omniscient look, but experiences and examples that are share with a smile. In fact, the author’s style is fully consistent with the message of the book: Life's too short to waste time in uselessness or issues that ultimately will find its solution or even worse in unnecessary remorse, drastic attempts to achieve absurd ideals.

The second part of the book is about marriage. There are relevant tips and easily to be assimilate and apply. The balance between the needs of the husband / wife / house that the author recommends is one ... balanced. I, at the end of these chapters, I thanked again to GZM for what great man and husband he is.

The author appears as a friend to whom you can share your frustrations, hardships and dreams. And, without judging you or talk unnecessarily, she will tell you her views and share with you her or others experiences to help in your decision, which you’ll take by yourself. Life is too short is not impose a path to follow, does not establish what is important to you, but it shows you the full picture of life.

Live for others, but do not forget to live for you too.

Be yourself in the best shape, but not desperately seek perfection. Be that wonderful and perfect Chinese vase that to resist was delicate scratched, in a hardly visible spot, by its creator.

If you struggle with a Superwoman in your closet, kick her out, permanently.
I received the book for review as part of Book Tour - Thank you

“You could smile, Mother, you could just smile.”

Cartea are mai multe avantaje.

Partea a doua a cărţii are ca obiect căsătoria.
