I'm not into soft, fluffy romance but give me a angst-ridden, twisted love and I'm all for it. Wuthering Heights is the one that immediately springs to mind.

I love an emotional, angst-ridden romance with complex characters and some action and/or suspense as part of the story-line.

I prefer a romance where they can't stand each other, and just fight, until they realize they have fallen in love.

I like enemies to lovers type romances as well as opposites attract. If the story has great banter that is a plus.
