Extra, extra, read all about it: Zombies Invade London!
It has been thirty years since England was plagued by zombies. Humans fear for their lives while the dead kill the living.
By the cover of night, a man known only as Aeron hunts these creatures. On one foggy evening he finds Lucille Knight's life in jeopardy and Aeron's interest is instantly peaked when he saves the young lady.
But Aeron will have competition when Lucy meets Lord Garrett Ashdown, son of the Inventor, Earl Thomas.
Lucy is drawn to the masked man and equally mysterious Lord. With one concealing his true identity and the other hiding a ghastly secret, she does not know which one is less dangerous.
Will she be able to be with the man she chooses when she learns the awful truth?
It is still unclear. And the current edition isn’t spilling the beans just yet…
Love and life among zombies
In Gravely Inanimated (book 1 in the zombiepunk series) the question is raised if zombies are still them selves trapped inside a body where a voodoo queen commands their will and holds their soul. We look at zombies and only see them for the brains they eat and the flesh they consume. But, they are trying to survive the same way we are. And possibly…just possibly…find love as well.
Now, there are hazards when dating a zombie. The worst case scenario is of course going to be that you get bitten. However, I believe if you follow a few simple rules you can have a best case scenario. Finding true love.
First, make sure they are chained at all times. Shawn of the Dead shows us how this is possible at the end of the movie. If you haven’t seen it I will not ruin it for you.
Second, I’m sorry to say but you must be careful of physical contact. Their flesh is slowly decaying so if you do try to hold their hand be gentle because a finger could brake off.
Third, never kiss a zombie on the mouth. The cheek is fine but if you trade spit you could become a zombie.
Finally, remember that somewhere deep down inside they do have feelings too. So if you get into a fight remember name calling like, flesh eater, mumbling freak, and brain dead are not nice.
The love and life among zombies is not an easy one. The easiest is to stay with your own species, but sometimes people like my characters from Gravely Inanimated come around and fall in love. You just can’t help who you fall in love with! So be kind, don’t discriminate. Interracial zombie/human love is possible! And we should all we aware of it and understanding.
