“You killed quite a few of our comrades. You know that, right?”
I smile because I think it will keep them distracted.
“Smile now little girl. It won’t be long until you’re begging for the pain to stop.” He snarls spinning his baton in his hand.
“He’s right. One of my buddies was killed the other day because of you.” The middle one says stepping towards me. “I don’t think it’s right that they get to have all the fun inside.” He says jerking his head to the Capital. “I deserve some fun. We all do after what you’ve put us through.”
He steps forward blocking the bright light that’s been blasting my eyes. I cower as his boots land near me. Liam and Marcus tighten their grip. They will do something right? The man steps towards me pulling out a long dark prod.
He points it up and pulls the trigger. The electric blue bolts dance at the tip. He lowers the prod to me and steps closer. The bolts dance at the tip and crack like a whip.
I try backing up but Liam and Marcus hold me steady. My eyes widen as the regulator drives the electric tip to my ribs. I roar in pain. The sparks course through my body. I can’t control myself, my teeth chatter against each other as I buck and flail. Electric torture sears into my bones.
