MB's INTERVIEW
Thank you, Mrs. Robertson

Between poems, songs, and novels which is your favorite to write and why? Are they influenced one by another?
Such a tough question. My poems and songs are so personal and are my outlet in releasing thoughts and emotions—some happy, and some very dark. I think the most fun thing to write is my novels. It’s an escape from my real life where I can dive into the characters—live them, breathe them, become them—and portray their story in a vivid and exciting way.

What is most important thing your books must have and why?

A paranormal element. Since childhood, I’ve been obsessed with anything and everything paranormal and it’s something that is not only a part of me, but also something I feel I can write really well.

You are a winner and a finalist in various contests. Has this status brought other “obligations” for you as a writer?

I wouldn’t say “obligations” per se, but it has brought a lot of new interest in my books and me as an accomplished author. I think all of us writers want—need—to feel appreciated for our hard work in writing these stories. So winning these contests and being a finalist in so many of them has been incredible!

What kind of supernatural beings we’ll meet in your books? Why these choices and how different are they from the “classical” type?

Vampires, angels, demons, sorceresses, hybrids, and my own spin on a “grim reaper”. Actually, all of these have my own unique characteristics and twists to keep it new, fun, and exciting for my readers.

„Death brought them together…/…Now Death may tear them apart.” What Death represents for you from the „paranormal” point of view, but also from Blood Promise point of view?
There are various forms of „death” in the Death Angel series. The main characters died as humans, but were reborn as something else altogether—yet the possibilty to no longer cease to exist is still a threat. There is also the possibilty to evolve into immortality. It all depends on the choices they make and the outcome.
