A light, romantic and funny read.

For me it has to be a book with a light subject matter. A humorous book would be a plus.

A perfect beach read is a fun and light novel, also it doesn't hurt if the book is waterproof, haha!

I just reading mysteries and that would be my favourite at the beach.

A story that has you so captivated that you aren't aware of the beach goers and noise around you. You also don't notice the sand slowly getting in places it shouldn't. ;)

Something in the fantasy paranormal urban genre that's light, funny, and easy to read/enjoy!

Thanks for the giveaway! For me it needs to be paranormal or have mermaids in it. :)

Thank you! It's one that keeps you awake while you are relaxing in a beach chair next to the ocean. :D

One that isn't too dark or depressing. Something light and humorous is a great read by the beach in summer!

One that will suck you in that you won't even think of going in the water to swim. ;)

For me a good beach read, is just a good read!!! I do not think there is a special type of book for a beach, I just love a good book, that I can not put down, and want to read till I fry to a crisp!!! And if it is a paper back, not on my kindle, I love to float and read!! Yes i do that a lot. People stare I do not care. Lol A good thriller, fantasy, or paranormal with a touch of romance, and a good plot is all I need. Thank you for the giveaway!!

I don't have a specific book I read on the beach. I choose genre according to my mood, not by the season or venue.
Thanks :)

slehan said...

First, I'd have to find a beach... Just a book that's not too demanding for me to think.
Thanks for the contest.

I don't know the answer as I don't read at beaches. I'd just take whatever I'm reading at the moment which is Ascenders by C. L. Gerber :)
