I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnian Independence Day is a public holiday held on 1 March to celebrate independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

im from portugal and i dont even remember the day of portugal :O maybe thats bc i live in canada quebec and here was last Wednesday 24 of june if im nor mistaken.. we dont really celebrate it.. thank you for the opportunity

We celebrate American Independence Day on July 4th every year. We think of it as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the USA as an independent nation!

It is Canada Day today! July 1st. There is a parade and fireworks and all kinds of bands and entertainment in our park.

My national day is called Waitangi Day which is in February and celebrates the signing of the treaty of Waitani between New Zealands indigenous poplation and the european settlers

I live in the USA so I do celebrate with the rest of country, but I am originally from England. We don't actually have a national day that I can remember, nothing like the USA has. We don't really celebrate St George's day, but we do do fireworks on Guy Fawkes Night (November 5th).

I live in the US so we celebrate on the 4th of July. Our complete family get together and grill, play games with children, and then watch the fireworks together. A real happy and entertaining time.

I hate to put a damper on this comment page, but we lost my dad two years ago, we haven't real celebration since for the 4th. It was his favorite but now we just stay home and watch the fireworks from the deck.

I'm from Indonesia and we celebrate our independence day on 17th of August! We always have a flag ceremony in the morning and lot's of games and festive later on.

I'm from El Salvador. Our Independence Day is 15th September. We usually do like a big parade in every city with fireworks and stuff

I was hoping to spend the 4th of July with my family, but I'm sick and have to stay at home. The neighbors have decided to play loud loud music, scream and jump around in their living room so it's not been pleasant at all :(

I celebrate Independence Day. Rain cancelled our cookout, but I plan on going to the lake for a fireworks show tonight.

I am from India. We celebrate Independence day on 25th August. It starts with morning live telecast of parade on Red Fort and then I spend the rest of the holiday with family

My family and I celebrate the 4th of July. We always go see the fireworks and occasionally have a cookout and roast marshmallows and play with sparklers at night!

I spent July 4th barbecuing with my family at the local park and played all sorts of sports like frisbee, kickball, and volleyball. :) Thanks for the giveaway~

Fourth of July was just a regular day for me.... Work, and then a nice celebration watching the neighbors fireworks with my hubby.... and our dogs going crazy because of said fireworks!
