Hannibal Lector comes to mind first, but hopping along I have come across many that are pure villains.
Either Hannibal Lector, Annie Wilks (Misery) or Jack Torrance (The Shining).
I haven't actually read a book that I've liked a villain. Therefore, I don't have a favourite.
Roland from the Kate Daniels series.
Flagg from The Stand by Stephen King.
There are a few, but right now, Valentina from Pippa Croft's Oxford Blue series is the name that comes to mind first.
One of my favorite villains is Seth from the Chicagoland series. He is really a great one :)

Opal Koboi from the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. She's one of those villains that just keeps coming back for more. I love to hate her!

Satan, the original. You know he has to be hot too to do what he does.
Harry Potter's Voldemort is one of my fav bad men if that is what you could call a wizard.

I don't have. I don't like villains for obvious reasons. But I'm reading a book called Fairest. It's about Queen Levana, the villain in The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.
I'd have to say Voldemort from Harry Potter. The villain I hate the most is Dolores Umbridge from HP. I cringe whenever there's a scene with her.

There are so many terrific villains out there. Darkling from Grisha is good, but I like any villain that we can understand their motives.
