Guest Post and Giveaway Unite (Project Integrate #1) by Jamie Campbell

Published: December 3rd, 2013

Description:

United They Stand.

Seventeen years ago an entire generation of aliens were sent to Earth in order to save their home planet and integrate into the human population. Now, those aliens are being hunted.

Amery Jones is your typical teenager, except for the fact she is an alien and a member of the government's secret Project Integrate.

When Amery's best friend Lola is kidnapped in order to get to her, there is only one person that can help - the exceedingly annoying and charming Lochie Mercury.

Together, Amery and Lochie must put aside their differences and attraction in order to rescue Lola before it's too late.

"I hate you."
Lochie leaned down, getting right into my face. "I don't hate you."
"Give it time," I seethed.

GUEST POST
About SF Romance (sub) genre

When most people hear Science Fiction, they always think of aliens, spaceships, and inter-galactic wars. I  thought it would be really cool to explore the genre further and make it about romance. For a species to exist, there has to be some kind of relationship between them so why wouldn't aliens be capable of love?

In my book, Unite, the alien race has grown up on Earth so they experience all the emotions that humans have. They can fall in love, they can be hurt, and they can feel jealousy. My main character, Amery, experiences all these in a short period of time. Being an alien hasn't stopped her from doing anything, but she does question whether her allegiance should be to humans or aliens.

Romance in Science Fiction is a quickly developing genre and I can't wait to see what it has in store for us in the future.
About the author:
Amazon #1 Bestselling Author Jamie Campbell was born into a big, crazy family of 6 children. Being the youngest, she always got away with anything and would never shut up. Constantly letting her imagination run wild, her teachers were often frustrated when her 'What I did on the weekend' stories contained bunyips and princesses.

Spending quality time with her laptop named Lily, Jamie has written several novels and screenplays. Spanning a number of genres and mediums, Jamie writes whatever inspires her from ghost stories to teenage love stories to tantalizing murder mysteries. Nothing is off limits.

A self-confessed television addict, dog lover, Taylor Swift fan, and ghost hunter, Jamie loves nothing more than the thrill of sharing her stories.

Și mie îmi place coperta, dar nu știu cât de tare m-ar captiva o poveste cu extratereștrii. ;))
