An adventure that is never scary or silly - Beenie's Search by J.J. Schousboe

I would recommend this book for younger children who are new to reading. The text and beautiful pictures work together to create an adventure that is never scary or silly. Beenie learns to rely on himself as he searches for his family - a good lesson for all. - Amazon

"Be careful, Ell. I’d hate to see you wind up dead for a second time.” - Where Dead Bodies Lie (Body Dowser #1) by Kat Cazanav

A coldness nipped at my fingertips and no matter how hard I shook my hands, the mist clung to them. I heard a cracking sound and looked up at ceiling lights as they exploded, sending shards of glass spraying everywhere. Students screamed, covering their heads. Another fury of wind swept in through the window. [...]
I felt nothing as if I were standing in the eye of a storm, detached from the riot a few feet away.

Life in Sugartown hasn't always been easy - Sugartown series by Carmen Jenner

"“I need you to promise me that no matter how bad it gets , no matter how dark my demons are, you’ll never walk away.”
“I promise.” "

Choose between Revenge and Forgiveness - Where Silence Gathers (Some Quiet Place #2) by Kelsey Sutton

"[A] gorgeously written tale of personified emotions. Revenge or forgiveness? That's the decision Alex Tate has to make after tragedy strikes her family. Once again, the author hooks you with her beautiful writing...and with her complex, stunning characters." - Goodreads

Alex seems to have it all - Lessons in Love (Lessons in Love #1) by Clarissa Carlyle

I loved the story of something tragic holding back Alex from properly living her life, and while I sympathise with her, this is a big part of the story. Thankfully she has help to pull herself out of herself, and help with the path to a better future.
Well written, and lovely story. - Goodreads

I can’t force myself to stay away - Beneath This Mask (Beneath #1) by Meghan March

I devoured this book, the characters and I'll be on pins and needles until we get Constantine's book. I have a feeling there is a good story there. If you haven't heard of Meghan March, definitely pick this one up. It's totally sexy, angsty, sassy and all sorts of good. - Goodreads

It’s a story about something much stronger - Feel by Karen-Anne Stewart

Let me introduce you to the Saige Colewood and Jensen Rider. For as long as Saige can remember, she has felt everything from everyone…except Jensen. She never wanted her abilities or to experience the hell from the overwhelming emotions from those around her.

Her secret is out. - The Gifted by Tamra Lassiter

This is a great book. The story flows easily and is very interesting and captivating.
The characters are great and I love the relationship between them.
Loved how Sara was able to see why her parents kept her away from the other gifted and loved her relationship with Fleet and Angelica.
Would love to read more about Sara and the other gifted people. - Amazon

She had sworn off his type years ago. - Cranberry Bluff by Deborah Garner

The characters were all colorful and believable, and the descriptions of the bed and breakfast made it come to life. The story twists and turns and the accelerating situations are both funny and alarming. I'm looking forward to the next book already, knowing one of these characters will be the star. - Goodreads

A werewolf who can’t howl - The Boy Who Couldn't Cry Wolf by Caldric Blackwell

My 8 year old daughter's review:
I loved it, my favorite part was when he finally howled, and how he realized his fear of being made fun of stopped him from howling. I like the lesson he learned about not letting worry of what people might think hold you back. I hope you write more books like this.

The Bleaklisted Books (The Feline Central Books) by David M. Brown, Donna Brown

Oh my God. What can I say about The Bleaklisted Books except that it’s AMAZING? This is one of the most original, laugh-out-loud hilarious books I’ve ever read. Charlie Brown is a cat who likes reading literature and giving comments about it, and bleaklisting several books, like Barry Potterer, Prude and Perjury, The Hungary Olympic Games and more. - Goodreads

When will it be my turn? - Spark series by Jennifer Ryder

"Someday. I would find someone I could love, and that same someone could love me. I'd really thought this stuff would be easier. The perfect guy and girl always find each other in my books. When will it be my turn?" (Eevie)

It’s worse than they think - Gingerbread Man Complete: Episodes 1-3 by Lee Strauss

Episodic writing takes a lot of thought. Whereas a novel as a beginning, middle and end, when writing serials, each episode has to have a beginning, middle and end (that’s not to say the ending won’t be a cliff – it most likely will – much like TV shows do, to entice the viewer to tune in again next week or to click the next episode on Netflix.)

I am the devil. What did she ever do to deserve this? - Leon's Way by Sunniva Dee

Writing this book, I pushed out of my comfort zone.
And I have no regrets.
Every word, every scene, is there for a reason—for the characters and the readers to experience them. To drive them toward that ending. You'll know what I mean.

Find out what everybody is talking about! - The Heroes of the Himalayas by Lars Guignard

Have you ever gotten hopelessly lost in a strange land?
Talked to an elephant?
Ridden a magic carpet?
Been jailed by an angry parrot?
And discovered that you have the power to change the world?

Will they continue to repeat their pasts? - Hawthorne's Calm (Oceans Trilogy #3) by M.A. DeOlmos

You will fall in love with this amazing trio. This book contains not one but TWO heart-warming, swoon worthy, and panty-melting book boyfriends. Go ahead. Lawrence & Ocean Hawthorne are anxiously waiting for you to sink your teeth into them…careful though…they just might bite back! ;)

You can choose your path, but your fate is sealed. - Gilded Wings (Hidden Wings #4) by Cameo Renae

There isn't a book of Cameo's that I've read thus far that I haven't completely fallen in love with. There was never a dull moment reading Tethered Wings, I was completely in a trance and couldn't stop, I had to know what was to come with the next page. I highly recommend this series to everyone young and old you will love it and it's characters. - Goodreads Book#3

Their way to happily ever after - Glitter and Grit (Lonesome Point, Texas #4) by Jessie Evans

“Well, go ahead,” Reece said, holding his gaze, relishing the tension beginning to thicken the air between them. “I don’t mind.”
After a moment, the man leaned closer, but his eyes didn’t waver from hers. “I don’t treat women that way.”
“Then how do you treat women?” Reece asked, shifting until her leg brushed his. “I’m curious.”

There’s plenty of reason to be afraid of the dark - Insane by H G Lynch

But this time was the closest I’d gotten to freedom, and to be thrown back into the tiny, dull, lifeless room I’d been inhabiting for nearly three months, to be ten feet from fresh air and grass and a world without bars on the windows and a schedule for every moment outside my room, and then be forced back into a prison – it was maddening.
