    I love YA because the books are about young people overcoming obstacles and going on adventures. YA leaves you hopeful after you read it. I also like that a lot of YA are series and I love book series because I never want the story to end.

    I like reading YA because it so often strives to represent all people in all stages of self-discovery. It's so inclusive and I think that's important for every person who picks up a book.

    I like a good story and don't really care what age it is meant to be for. I read everything from Harry Potter to Stephen King and like it!

    I read Young Adult books because I am a young adult (I'm sixteen) and I think the genre is extremely expansive. It's a lot of things; fun, random, quirky and when need be, serious. The very broad YA genre encompasses various sub-genres and not only do I enjoy reading the books, I also love the community of YA book lovers. It's so open and friendly and there's always someone for you to fangirl with or express your mutual dislike of books to.

    I like some YA for the same reason I like some adult, the books have a story line/setting that I find interesting.

    I love YA because the characters are usually easier to connect to. And I like the storylines better than in adult books. (Jamie Coudeville in the rafflecopter)

    YA tends to be more relatable to me, since even though I'm an adult, I haven't had many adult experiences.

    My passion is reading. I love most genres!! I really enjoy and am amazed that the authors can come up with so many great books. I would love to be able to write something most people would enjoy reading.

    I love YA because I relate better to it! I love some adult books and there are authors I will always love and read but there is something about YA and the fantasy books are amazing! We didn't have a huge selection when I was in high school and now there is every book imaginable!

    Sometimes YA isn't as graphic or deep in themes, and you can actually enjoy the plot without, what I like to call, disturbances, lol.

    I enjoy many of the genres currently featured in YA books. Plus, my daughter and I can read the same books and discuss them.

    I love YA because the characters are closer to my age. There is so many stories and adventure. When i get older, I think i'll still read YA :D

    I like YA because the plots, many times, are based in reality. The authors write about difficult life situations and how the characters overcome their problems or...not.
