ReplyDeleteThe best love story in literature for me is anything by Jane Austen. I usually like to read more paranormal genre books. :)
ReplyDeletePride and Prejudice by Jane Austen with Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. You know they're going to end up the second you're introduced to them.
ReplyDeleteThis is the very first book where girl meets "terrible" boy, but loves him still and thinks change is possible. This has been duplicated ever since them.
Lately I've been enjoying more romances than usual, it must be in the air with Valentines Day. I normally go for paranormal or horror. I especially enjoy books about death and reapers.

ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite romantic story. Each book tells the journey of different characters. Not everyone's life is the same, so it's safe to say not everyone's romantic journey will be the same either. That's the magic of reading!
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's a toss up between Pride & Prejudice and Romeo & Juliet. I think both serve as inspiration for a lot of other writers. Plus, Romeo & Juliet has a funny Epic Rap Battles of History where they go against Bonnie and Clyde. My favorite genre fluctuates between fantasy and adventure (I love those books that form alternate realities or get into conspiracies/unanswered questions about something in history; think Dan Brown)
