While the Sidhe walk among them, no one is safe…- Eventide (Iron Falls, #1) by Christine Allen-Riley

Description:

The driver in a tragic car accident that killed her best friend, Devon Greer is consumed by guilt. When powerful hallucinations convince her that she’s seeing Rachael everywhere, Devon thinks she’s going crazy. But her friend isn’t truly gone.

To save Rachael from the faeries who stole her, Devon must pit herself against the Court of the Sidhe. Once she witnesses the true form of the fey, Devon’s life is in danger—and so are the lives of everyone she loves.

Now, Devon must not only protect herself, but also Jonah Seafort, Rachael’s cousin and the only person Devon can trust to help her. While the Sidhe walk among them, no one is safe…

The world Christine Allen-Riley created is vivid and full of magical elements that weave together Native American stories, Celtic and fairy lore. Each creature we meet is unique and I can close my eyes and picture the Sidhe, the animals, the forest and the majestic Lake Superior shoreline as the story unfolded before me. - Goodreads
I think the book gave me more reason to love young adult fantasy novels. I'm pretty sad that I have to wait around a year for the next book though (I can't believe this one's yet to be released!) - there are still so many questions left unanswered and the story's still hanging.
Kudos to Christine Allen-Riley for such a great book! - Goodreads
