When a rogue band of the dreaded Sorak attacks his village, twelve-year-old Beynn Firehand escapes into the darkness of BlackMyst Forest to find help. During his quest, Beynn discovers his own powerful magic abilities.
The price of his newfound powers, however, may be higher than he ever imagined.
I easily could see the characters and feel their emotions and became interested in them. I am a senior and enjoyed this book, however I find it appropriate for pre teens and young adults also. Now on to the next in the series to see where they go next. - Amazon
The book is written with great description and high vocabulary. If you’re a fan of The Hobbit or books with magic and dark forests, this might be the book for you. There are several twists and turns on this adventure. It keeps the story alive.- Amazon
