The best book I've read all year is Written in Red. Of course, that's not counting the Stephen King books, nor the Joe Hill book (NOS4A2). Those books were amazing.

The easiest way to answer that question is to tell you my most recent favorite, which would be Long the Live the Queen by Kate Locke. It is the final book in the Immortal Empire Trilogy, and the whole series is at the top of my faves list.
