Pe...I read the e-book and couldn't put it down. People associate Viking gods by what they read in comic books. To put it mildly, these are NOT those guys. In this book they were kicked out of Asgard by Odin, so they manage to make a living doing what they do best. And James portrays this in such a hysterically funny, wickedly intelligent way. He epitomizes the 2 dimensional preoccupations consuming modern society: worshipping sports figures, the adulation and advantages of beauty, even cheesy multi level marketing corporations.
