Roen, a reclusive Worr demon known for his battles against the Oneiroi, is called to protect Jade. Together they must unlock their mysterious connection and find a way to beat back destiny. What inspired you to write your story?

Hi Diana! This was strange, but I was listening to the radio and the announcer was talking about a singer who was having dreams of a demon. It sparked an idea (non related to the singer) and I sat down while in a writing group and wrote the prologue, which isn't even in the book anymore! I still really like it though and may post it up at some point. That's how the idea for this book happened. The next one in the series developed close to the end of writing Hidden. And another wouldn't let me fall asleep. Seems to be different each time so far. :)

I hope you live in a part of IL that doesn't inspire your demons, lol I'm in IL too so if it does, part of me would totally understand and part of me would want to know where to stay away from, haha :)

Myths draw me in too, Ginger :) I took liberties with a few in this series, which is such a great thing about fiction. :) For example, the Oneiroi, the dream gods, will be throughout the series and you'll recognize aspects of them from mythology books. But they have their own stories and I had a blast with them. I hope you enjoy them as well, even though they are hunting the sisters, their stories may surprise you.

Hi Jan! Yikes, I would be wary if there was an issue where I lived as well. None here that I know of. Just an over active imagination on my part and a love of mythology :)

Always demigods were a challenge for the Gods and I'm curious how Jade will manage to survive and to defeat them. Even there is a large liberty to change (or add to) the mythology there is not an easy task to do it "right" :))
Thank you,
C

Thanks again for hosting me, very appreciated! And yes, the demigods can be a challenge, especially to a few temperamental gods :)

Thank you,
Amy
