time to fight his demons - The Winning Side (University Park #3) by C.M. Doporto

18+ I was willing to do anything to help him. But would he allow me to get close to him? Really let me in? Allow me to see the real Raven? My love for Raven was worth the battle. I refused to give up and I wouldn’t allow him to give up either. - Lexi Thompson

Steeling My Haart by Lizzy Roberts

This was one bad storm cell and it sounded like they were far from being out of the woods yet. Fumbling about the dark shelter, he could just see the outlines of a couple of boxes and a cupboard in the far corner of the small underground room. As the lightening flashes continued to light the room sporadically he was able to release a shaking Emma and attempt to find some light.

I’m a magnet for evil and controlling men - Mind (Trinity Trilogy #2 ) by Audrey Carlan

18+ To the author: Ummm you have me at a loss for words. Do I say thank you? Do I say you have done it again and continue too? Do I mention that with the words that you write become more and more explosive with each strike of the keyboard? Or do I just say nothing and just smile? You keep this reviewer enthralled with every book that I have read that you have written. You hold my attention from the very first word and don’t let go even when tears arise. Awesome - Goodreads

The Adventures of Mr. McGuire and Friends and The Kingdom of Sirethiel by K.A. Yodock

This is a lovely story with adorable pictures throughout. The art matches the fun tone of the writing, and the characters are quite endearing. I loved the way the story is presented by pulling us right into the world, as if it is normal for animals to talk and wear clothes, and of course the message of friendship. A great read for anyone with children or anyone simply looking for a fun light read. - Goodreads

Face the ghosts of the past in order to secure the future - 32 Seconds by Johanna K. Pitcairn

I struggled with the words that would do this book justice. Books are not only created to entertain us, uplift us, but to transform and touch us. This book does this.

If you’re lucky, you might get what you need - Broken People (Broken People #1) by Ioana Visan

Excellent stories that will leave you yearning for more. These are insightful vignettes of the characters that will populate the author's highly anticipated novel, The Broken People. It reminded me of Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles, but this is a more sophisticated and nuanced adult version that is both inventive and a bit disturbing. I highly recommend these engaging stories.- Amazon

Meet an author: Pauline Creeden

And the ending! It was so good, making me wish the sequel was already out. Although, I haven't been told there was sequel, but the way it ended, there better be. Ha!

Very clean read, if you don't mind a little gore. We are dealing with zombies here, but it wasn't over done either. If you love the end-of-the-world type of a story, a bit of horror, thriller, and a touch of romance, check it out! - Goodreads

A haven for ghosts who exist among the living - American Specter by Rasheedah Prioleau

By the time I became a fan of their works, they already had an audience and were able to rise above pushing the proverbial envelope and just tell the story. When I think about authors that I would consider being my contemporaries, I think we are still cutting our teeth on these mentors.

Hark---A Christmas Collection by Justin Bog

I think this would be a great gift for the readers in my life, and now that I've read this, I'm anxious to read some of his other short stories and novels. His stories don't sugar-coat life and all the travails it can deliver, but he has this amazing ability to find the silver lining, even when everything feels sad.- Goodreads
