An adventure of a lifetime - Pirates: The Lost Cove (Journal of the Red Skull) by Alonna Williams

They were the most unlikely pair to fall in love. . . - Obsidian Faith by Bev Elle

I just love a plain old fashioned love story. This is one that spans a couple of years and the two main characters are tested and come out winners on the other side.I love that this was handled in adult fashion, were it could taken a dark turn at any point. There is sizzling chemistry between the two main characters and the writer lets you see the love.A really feel good story that is worth taking a chance on. - Goodreads

Sometimes, what you want is not really what you need - Not Looking For Love: Episode 1 by Lena Bourne

"Dawn is my favorite time of day. I love watching the colors of the sky change from inky black to grey to lilac blue and finally yellow, the new day being born, bringing new hope. Today, I just wish the sun would come up. [...] I'm enjoying the silence, the serenity of floating in the water, with my long hair plastered down my ears, blocking out the chirping birds."

time to fight his demons - The Winning Side (University Park #3) by C.M. Doporto

18+ I was willing to do anything to help him. But would he allow me to get close to him? Really let me in? Allow me to see the real Raven? My love for Raven was worth the battle. I refused to give up and I wouldn’t allow him to give up either. - Lexi Thompson

Steeling My Haart by Lizzy Roberts

This was one bad storm cell and it sounded like they were far from being out of the woods yet. Fumbling about the dark shelter, he could just see the outlines of a couple of boxes and a cupboard in the far corner of the small underground room. As the lightening flashes continued to light the room sporadically he was able to release a shaking Emma and attempt to find some light.

I’m a magnet for evil and controlling men - Mind (Trinity Trilogy #2 ) by Audrey Carlan

18+ To the author: Ummm you have me at a loss for words. Do I say thank you? Do I say you have done it again and continue too? Do I mention that with the words that you write become more and more explosive with each strike of the keyboard? Or do I just say nothing and just smile? You keep this reviewer enthralled with every book that I have read that you have written. You hold my attention from the very first word and don’t let go even when tears arise. Awesome - Goodreads

Peter Pan has grown up and found the girl who left - Forever Found (Neverland Lost, #2) by Nazarea Andrews

"She was a million tiny pieces, reflecting all of her sadness and tragedy, and it was hidden by practised smiles and the veneer of sanity, but if you scraped a little, she was there. My girl. My lost broken beautiful girl. She would always be there."

Playing for Love (Summer Beach Vets 1) by H.Y. Hanna

I really enjoyed this book. It's a sweet, light, fun read with great chemistry. I loved Sara and Craig, they're so sweet! Aroused and Desired (Life Shocks Romances #1, #4)

The Adventures of Mr. McGuire and Friends and The Kingdom of Sirethiel by K.A. Yodock

This is a lovely story with adorable pictures throughout. The art matches the fun tone of the writing, and the characters are quite endearing. I loved the way the story is presented by pulling us right into the world, as if it is normal for animals to talk and wear clothes, and of course the message of friendship. A great read for anyone with children or anyone simply looking for a fun light read. - Goodreads

Face the ghosts of the past in order to secure the future - 32 Seconds by Johanna K. Pitcairn

I struggled with the words that would do this book justice. Books are not only created to entertain us, uplift us, but to transform and touch us. This book does this.
Johanna Pitcairn’s 32 Seconds is a wonderful book. She has created an uneasy, thoughtful, and profound story. - Goodreads

A steamy, suspenseful and wild ride - The Nordic Lords MC Box Set (Nordic Lords MC #1-3) by Stacey Lynn

It has sex, guns, mayhem, murder, gun fights, death, tragedy and all sorts of other things that make for an excellent read. - Goodreads

In death, she was his, forever.

Sometimes we do unacceptable things - Striving for Acceptance (Striving #3) by B.L. Mooney

18+ “No, actually.” He looked at the package in his hands. “I met someone.”

“Yeah, and I want to be exclusive with her.” He handed me the package.
“What’s this?”
“A goodbye gift.”

High school is difficult enough - Lexi's Pathetic Fictional Love Life by Jo Noelle

The high school setting hits the mark. The characters are age appropriate in their thinking and responses. The romance is likabley sweet as are the characters. It's fun to watch all their growth and see how the sibling rivalry plays out.
The YA set and some adults will enjoy this read. - Goodreads

If you’re lucky, you might get what you need - Broken People (Broken People #1) by Ioana Visan

Excellent stories that will leave you yearning for more. These are insightful vignettes of the characters that will populate the author's highly anticipated novel, The Broken People. It reminded me of Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles, but this is a more sophisticated and nuanced adult version that is both inventive and a bit disturbing. I highly recommend these engaging stories.- Amazon

Meet an author: Pauline Creeden

And the ending! It was so good, making me wish the sequel was already out. Although, I haven't been told there was sequel, but the way it ended, there better be. Ha!

Very clean read, if you don't mind a little gore. We are dealing with zombies here, but it wasn't over done either. If you love the end-of-the-world type of a story, a bit of horror, thriller, and a touch of romance, check it out! - Goodreads

A haven for ghosts who exist among the living - American Specter by Rasheedah Prioleau

By the time I became a fan of their works, they already had an audience and were able to rise above pushing the proverbial envelope and just tell the story. When I think about authors that I would consider being my contemporaries, I think we are still cutting our teeth on these mentors.

Kids Moments - A City Full of Santas by Pooja Sardana,

The story starts out with Santa going to fill stockings and what a surprise he received.
This book is a great book to read to children during the Christmas season. Christmas is more than receiving gifts.
I highly recommend this book to read to your children. - Goodreads

Hark---A Christmas Collection by Justin Bog

I think this would be a great gift for the readers in my life, and now that I've read this, I'm anxious to read some of his other short stories and novels. His stories don't sugar-coat life and all the travails it can deliver, but he has this amazing ability to find the silver lining, even when everything feels sad.- Goodreads

Meet an author: Natalie-Nicole Bates

Natalie-Nicole Bates writes the most amazing characters. She makes the reader care about them in a short time.
She adds elements to her stories that others may not think to put together.
Reading any of her novellas is a treat and often I end up wishing they were longer. I do not want her stories to end. - Goodreads

Will he forgive? - Dare to Submit (Dare to Love #4) by Carly Phillips

18 + Amanda and Decklan have to submit their hearts and minds to each other as well. I loved their relationship. It was utterly seductive, and entrancing. Amanda submits to Decklan in a way they both crave, but outside of the bedroom, and sometimes inside as well, she holds her own. - Goodreads

They shut out the chaos with a kiss - Bittersweet (Love Edy #2) by Shewanda Pugh

He couldn’t watch that. He couldn’t stand this. Swarming, aimless flashing lights, the methodical sectioning and combing of here and there, and Wyatt’s swinging arm, slipped out to greet him.

He’s dead. No one loses that much blood and lives.
