  2. Though I'm in college and I live in the capital, I call home a nice countryside place where I get to spend my holidays with my family. Fresh air, lots of green and the possibility to see an amazing starry sky at night are one of the few reasons why I love my village.

  4. I live in the DC area in the US. I don't actually live in the city, but more of suburban area. Anyway, if you're planning a vacation around here, don't. It's not nearly as interesting as people pretend. :)

  10. I live in Bali all my life. It's a small island with rich traditional culture. We have beautiful beaches too along with breathtakingly beautiful mountain trekking spot!

  15. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. My city is a very very busy city because it's the capital city of my country. Very hot and dusty recently in this summer time. But I loved it, it's a beautiful city indeed.

  22. Oh well, where I live it's one of the biggest cities on the world! Mexico City. And it was founded on the top of a lake!! According with the legend there was an eagle eating a snake, and that marked the destined land (and incidentaly, the eagle was on a tiny island on the lake). So... yeah, city on top of a lake XD.

  37. I live in a small, very rural town in Nevada. It's in the high desert, so it gets quite cold in the winter. While there aren't many trees here, the night skies are beautiful with stars so numerous and so bright, you can almost believe the sky is fabricated just for your enjoyment. michelle_willms@yahoo.com

  48. I live in a quiet town in Lithuania. That's what I like the best about it, that it's quiet, green, and rarely anything happens here, neither good or bad. The weather could be somewhat warmer, although for the last few years we had serious heat waves in summer.

India is a culturally diverse country and it's state Rajasthan is the place where The Great Indian Thar Desert is located but I have never been to the desert myself and in Jaipur city we have asia's largest literature festival every year in Jan with 100's of authors and 1000's and lakhs og literature addicts in attendance...
